What Is Jimmy John's J.J. Gargantuan?

The Jimmy John's Menu varies widely, from the "Plain Slims" that are basically just meat (and sometimes cheese) on bread to "Giant Clubs" loaded with everything from turkey, provolone, and cucumber, to ham and bacon. But there's one sandwich to rule them all, and it's the largest and most expensive: The J.J. Gargantuan.

This beast was supposedly invented by founder Jimmy John Liautaud's brother Huey, and is a loaf of their classic French bread filled with Genoa salami, sliced smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey, and provolone, topped with onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and Italian dressing.

It probably goes without saying that this sandwich isn't exactly healthy; in fact, it's the unhealthiest item on the menu. Each sandwich contains 55 grams of fat, 1,104 calories, and 3,414 milligrams of sodium. It doesn't have the most fat out of any menu item, however; that dubious distinction goes to the Club Tuna, which contains 56 grams of fat.
