Lobster and Caviar Added to Wendy’s Japan Menu

To commemorate the opening of Wendy’s second location in Japan in August, two unlikely fast-food items are joining the fast food menu. Lobster and caviar are being served on the new Ocean Premium line, which also includes high-end ingredients like foie gras, truffles, porcini mushrooms, and Iberian ham.

Two new burgers and one salad option incorporating lobster and caviar are added in the fast-food chain’s ongoing efforts to set itself apart from its competitors. The lobster and caviar burger features a Canadian lobster patty topped with mustard, mayonnaise and caviar. The surf and turf burger is a hamburger patty topped with pieces of lobster. Both burgers are priced at ¥1,280 ($16).

The third addition of the line is the Ocean Premium salad that includes lobster, egg, avocado, caviar, and onion for ¥1,580 yen ($20).
