Weekly Restaurant Opening Report: The Week Of April 28

Every week, we take a look at some of the restaurants that have opened or will soon open across the country. Here's this week's roundup:

Atlanta

Polaris, a rotating restaurant that sits atop the Hyatt Regency Atlanta hotel, will reopen its doors in June. The restaurant's reopening is 10 years in the making.

Los Angeles

California-based family restaurant Eureka! will open a new Irvine, Calif. location in September and an Austin, Texas location in October.

Brit Bar will be opening at The London West Hollywood May 23rd. The bar will be on the 10th story of the hotel and feature English cocktails and cuisine.

Miami

Michael Shikany has opened SHIKANY in a once-abandoned 4,000-square-foot warehouse. The fully renovated restaurant features a simple, rustic menu.

New York

Mŏkbar, a new ramen noodle shop, will open its doors in a Chelsea Market space adjacent to Los Tacos on May 1.

The Lower East Side's Blue Ribbon Beer Garden will reopen for the summer on Friday, May 2nd. The garden features a curated beer list, wines, barbecue fare, and communal seating with board games.

Renowned Chicago molecular gastronomical restaurant Alinea will be opening a New York pop up location in Manhattan this fall.

Portland, Maine

Lolita, a new restaurant in Portland, Maine, is set to open within a few weeks. The Munjoy Hill restaurant will feature sharable plates with wood-fired food.

San Francisco

Dirty Habit, a new bar and cocktail-focused space located in SOMA, will open on May 1.

Quince alum Sean O'Toole has opened Torc in downtown Napa, in a space that formerly housed the vegetarian spot Ubuntu. Torc's will also be specializing in veggie dishes.
