Village Voice's 'Choice Streets' Food Truck Event To Be Held May 7
The Village Voice's biggest food event of the year, Choice Eats, is sold out and will be taking over the Lexington Avenue Armory tomorrow evening. If you weren't able to score tickets to that, though, there's another Village Voice-hosted event that should be on your radar coming up: Choice Streets.
The event will bring together more than 25 of the city's top food trucks, and they'll be serving some of their classic offerings. A $40-ticket will buy you unlimited tastings as well as complimentary beverages, and a $50 VIP ticket allows you early access as well as a gift bag.
The event will be taking place May 7 (May 9 is the rain date), and it'll be happening on the pier right next to where the Intrepid is docked, Pier 86, near 12th Avenue and 46th Street (tickets also include a visit to the Intrepid museum).
The food trucks lined up so far are Gorilla Cheese, Nuchas, Phil's Steaks, Souvlaki GR, Valducci's Original Pizza, and Coolhaus. Check back with the event's website to keep track of all the additional participants.
