About Me
Jeff Anderson is the Executive Chef of the Safeway Culinary Kitchens and is responsible for developing new product ideas and recipes. Chef Jeff is committed to providing a gold standard of food excellence at affordable prices for Safeway customers. A graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Chef Jeff is always eager to share his extensive culinary knowledge. He participates in many culinary events to share cooking tips and easy recipes, helping Safeway shoppers create better home-cooked meals. Chef Jeff attributes part of his culinary style to his work at the luxury hotel Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek; it was in this continued education environment that he was able to develop new cooking techniques and establish his cooking style. Later in his career Chef Jeff transitioned from hospitality to grocery but was careful to maintain the “guest perspective” in the food he created and in the ideas he brought to Safeway Culinary Kitchens. After owning two restaurants and learning to think like an entrepreneur, Chef Jeff puts consumer interests first as he continues to innovate and develop best-in-class foods. As a father of two, Chef Jeff is passionate about creating recipes that are not only delicious but also affordable and simple to prepare for today’s busy families.
