Usain Bolt Celebrates Olympic Wins With $125,000 Champagne

Hey, if you broke some Olympic and world records, were a fan favorite at this year's London Olympic Games, and became known as the world's fastest man, you'd want to celebrate in style. Turns out, Olympian Usain Bolt had just that idea: to the tune of $125,000.

The Drinks Business and the Associated Press report that the sprinter got treated to the holy grail of champagne bottles while out at London nightclub Modiva. While with his teammate Yohan Blake, boxer Amir Khan, British runner Mo Farah, and British swimmer Rebecca Adlington, they were treated to a Nebuchadnezzar bottle of Armand de Brignac Champagne, also known as the Ace of Spades. And the reason for the hefty price tag? The 15-liter bottle holds the equivalent of 20 champagne bottles. (We ask, did they finish it??) They left the club at about 6 a.m., says the club manager.

And that's not even where the party started; reports show that Bolt was also DJing at a packed club earlier that night. DJ Manny Norte told the AP that Bolt came up and grabbed the mike, which electrified the crowd. "It's not every day you get to play to a crowd with the fastest man on planet ... you can tell he loves his music — his pop and reggae. We mixed up the tracks at bit," Norte said to the AP. We'd definitely be down to drink some bubbly with Bolt.
