Foursquare Tips

  • NASAs 1st visitor center. Opened in 1970, it is home to space artifacts & hardware, historical documents, and interactive exhibits. Be sure to check out the Hubble film on the giant IMAX screen.
  • See the Hubble IMAX movie. Even in 2D it's incredible!
  • No discount for NASA employees which is unlike many of the other NASA Visitor's Center's.
  • Artifacts of our nations space program, hands-on interactive exhibits and space travel simulators.
  • Don't park at the old entrance
  • Been coming here since I was a baby. Something new every year to explore and learn.

  • If it's not raining' make sure you ride g force.
  • Expect to spend a few hours here. Go on a sunny day to see outdoor exhibits.
  • See the movies first. Then take your time through the rest of the museum, Fantastic.
  • Always enjoy going during the themed artifacts at the museum. The exhibits are always wonderful and the scenic view is always nice to see as well. they also have movies showing and a gift shop.

  • The US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL contains a multitude of activities for all ages including interactive math and science exhibits, the Saturn V Museum, and the IMAX Theatre.
