Unusual Breakfast Foods

Here are some unusual breakfast foods to kickstart your morning:

Ebelskiver: This classic Danish pancake can be a real breakfast treat. Pancake mix is used on a special stovetop pan to create small, muffin-top-like pancakes. You can have fun by adding blueberries or bananas with a caramel drizzle. Add a dash of confectionary sugar on top and enjoy!

Potatoes: Most do not associate potatoes with breakfast besides the common hash-brown, but baked potatoes, wedges, slices or squares make for a perfect start to the day. Potatoes  are a great source of carbohydrates and will leave you feeling full for hours. This prolongs your satisfaction until the next meal and provides your body with an abundance of energy.

Breakfast Pizza: Who doesn't love pizza? Make your own creative breakfast pizza with toppings such as spinach, mushrooms, cheese, eggs, and bacon.

Brie Pastry: For the classy folk: try baking a Brie pastry. Using puff pastry as the "crust," then stuff your treat with cranberries and Brie cheese. This warm meal will keep your tummy happy and wanting more of this savory breakfast treat.

Breakfast Burrito: Encase your contents in a spinach, sun-dried tomato or regular wrap. Stuff your burrito with scrambled eggs, salsa and potatoes.
