Taxi drivers already hate Uber for taking their clientele, offering people more personalized and classy ride experiences, and now they're planning on doing the same in the sky for lucky rich kids heading to the Cannes Film Festival this week. Available for a limited time from May 12 to May 18, UberJET was created in partnership with GOODWILL Private Jets and allows you to pull up the app and hop on a private jet to Cannes.

UberJET is available on the same Uber app you already have, and all you have to do is select the JET option and specify a pickup spot. From there you'll get a call to confirm the details, making sure you won't have over four passengers in total, and finally a black car will come fetch you and take you to your plane at the Bourget airport in Paris. From there, you'll fly to Nice, where you'll then be picked up again and taken to wherever you want to go.

The service costs €6,490 ($8,930), which includes the transportation to and from the airport. So far, they're calling this a limited opportunity, but we imagine this may be a dry run to see how successful the service may be with customers.
