Foursquare Tips

  • Best place to eat in Winslow. Bar none.
  • Terrific service: Johnny, Reuben, Shannon, Julie, Joni. And the food can't be beat. Last night: romaine salad, carnitas and a piece if apple rhubarb pie for this morning's breakfast.
  • The bread is so awesome
  • The Churro Lamb Posole taste great. One of my favorite dishes. For dessert, the bread pudding goes great with the prickly pear sorbet.
  • Get off I-40 and try this place. Unique and beautiful.
  • If you go for lunch, it is much more reasonably priced.
  • Really great service! Amazing breakfast and worth the stay or stop while driving through town!
  • Love my window table, watching the trains roll by. And can't beat a filet mignon served by Shannon. Happy!!!
  • Their signature soup is amazing - don't skip it!!
  • Mmmmm ... carnitas and Kunde 2006 Syrah!
  • At breakfast, it's all about the potatoes.
  • Starting off with..the Freshly baked Mesquite syrup and butter glazed cornbread!.mmmm
  • The prickly pear bread pudding is awesome.
  • Try the Green Chile Potatoes at breakfast, Signature Soup at lunch, and Wild Game Sampler for dinner.
  • Don't miss the Elk Medallions for dinner, the Boilerman for breakfast and for dessert, definitely the chocolate souffle!!! MMMMMM!!!
  • The bread pudding is divine. The hotel has been immaculately preserved and restored.
  • Make dinner reservations with Nathan. Very professional, very knowledgeable about the wine list and menu. Their best server!
  • The chef is da bomb! Surely try the hummus, veg platter, and the Ossobuco. But from our sampling I doubt you could make a bad choice with such expert craftsman at the range.
  • The half pound ground round was amazing! The seasoned vegetables were absolutely delectable!
  • Have the Pinet de Picpoul wine but not the pasta. Mine was way over sauced and far too al dente and not enough shrimp
