Foursquare Tips

  • Unassuming Hell's Kitchen deli and taqueria. Great chile relleno and cheap, tasty tacos and tortas here.
  • Don't listen to other reviews. Tulcingo beats Tehuitzingo by a MILE. Tacos are just as good, plus, get their Enchiladas Combinadas and you WILL understand why Tulcingo wins.
  • Be sure to get the fresh guacamole instead of the pureed one. They make it fresh for you. Amazing!
  • This is a Tostada (hard shell taco) and it's great! If you order "tacos" they will be soft flour tortilla! Little traditional Mexican food lesson for you all - you're welcome!
  • The best tacos in hell's kitchen! Hands down.
  • best chicken burrito I've ever had
  • PULQUE!!!!!!!!
  • Best guacamole in NYC!
  • Their caf con leche is the best!
  • Authentic guacamole that brings me to tears of joy.
  • super-legit. incredibly well-seasoned dishes
  • Try the cemitas-sandwiches on round seeded rolls traditionally made with cactus pulp but Sietsema's fave is milanesa res, a razor-thin beef cutlet similar to Texas chicken fried steak, only thinner.
  • The chilaquiles were amazing. It's not going to get any more authentic than this here in NYC. Coming from a Mexican from Texas.
  • Try Chicken Mole Enchiladas-homemade mole on a half-chicken, or on three chicken enchiladas ($11.50), along w/ achiote rice, refried beans topped w/ crumbly cheese, & a dab of sauce-style guacamole
  • This expanded Mexican deli has a large array of staple Mexican ingredients like refried beans, guacomole and fried pork. We like to sit back with their huevos rancheros and watch a telenovela.
  • The roast pork sandwich lives up to the billing -- spicy and full of flavorful goodness.
  • Cool Mexican store in Hells Kitchen. They serve tacos and Mexican food in the back. Also carry Mexican beer and pulque.
  • Try the chorizo tacos!
  • The huevos rancheros!
  • $1 charge for paying with a card. Yeah, that sounds legal.
