This California-Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, run by chef-owners Gayle Pirie and John Clark, is unique in its own way. It features a fireplace and open kitchen with a covered outdoor patio where foreign and independent films play against a white wall. "Foreign Cinema is a sensual experience," says Pirie. "The warmth from candles throughout the space and our large fireplace in the main dining room provides a nice ambiance and glow, and those opting to sit in our outdoor courtyard have the romantic vibe from the films we project on the large back wall." You and your date also have an option of grabbing a drink before or after diner at the front bar. According to Pirie, Foreign Cinema is three very different romantic spaces all in one.
