Art Basel's Golden Waffle Is Edible Art... At $100 A Serving

You'll find plenty of interesting artwork at Miami's Art Basel this year including performances, interactive art installations, large sculptures, and canvas pieces. One of the more exciting things happening over the weekend will be in the form of an exciting golden waffle you can enjoy – for a small fee of $100.

Popular contemporary pop artist, Mister E, will be turning everything he touches to gold this year at Miami's Art Basel. His exhibit, #GoldBasel, will be centered around all things gold and he will be collaborating with brand partners to make this #GoldBasel event extravagant. One partner, Waffle Waffle, will be selling a $100 golden waffle as an interactive event where people can eat this luxurious Belgian waffle.

Why gold? Well, Mister E wants to inspire young Art Basel goers to pursue their dreams and "reach for the gold." He is most well-known for his "Benny Jr." piece, a colorful $100 bill that has caught the eyes of several celebrities in the pop-culture community.
