Travel Channel Announces New Sandwich Show, Bourdain's Renewal

In case you were worried about losing Anthony Bourdain's ever-intriguing No Reservations ever since they covered up his creepy holiday special, fear not. The network has announced that the eighth season of his show will premiere Monday, April 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The adventurous traveler will hit up Mozambique for the first episode (above), followed by trips to Austin, Texas; Baja, Mexico; France; the Croatian Coast, Northern Italy; Finland; Rio De Janeiro; Kansas City, Mo.; Lisbon, Portugal; Penang, Malaysia; Sydney; and Japan.

Travel Channel is also debuting a new show with Adam Richman, who searches for the best sandwich in America. According to a press release, it will consist of 11 episodes of Richman eating three sandwiches in a region and then naming one supreme.

We suggest scouring our archives for our Sandwiches of the Week, as well as trying a Shake Shack/In-n-Out taste-off. The two burger chains may not be in one region, but they've certainly divided our office.
