Big Sur Food and Wine Festival 2012, Big Sur, Calif., Nov. 1-4
One of the premier festivals in California, featuring some top California wines and winemakers in addition to hikes, wine panels, and an auction.
3rd Annual Fall Mt. Rainier Wine Festival, Ashford, Wash., Nov. 3
Enjoy some hard-to-find artisanal wines and craft beers from smaller producers around Washington. Taking place in the shadow of looming Mt. Rainier, this is your chance to experience the best of Washington's wine and beer.
12th Annual Toast of the Town, Rocklin, Calif., Nov. 3
With all proceeds going to help schools in the Rocklin Unified School District, you can come and sip for a good cause. More than 25 wineries will offer tastings, and there will be a community dinner as well as an art show.
Fall Wine Fest 2012, Boston, Mass., Nov. 3
Ten countries, one night! Taste wines from around the world along with great food at this event geared toward young professionals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. DJ Karl will also be on hand with live music.
1st Annual Vintners' Holidays, Yosemite National Park, Calif., Nov.4-Dec.6
This 2012 season marks the 31st anniversary of Vintners' Holidays and will feature more than 30 of California's best winemakers who will be visiting the Ahwahnee over eight sessions from Nov. 4 to Dec. 6. From terroir to table, participants in each session have personal access to meet the winemakers, learn about the latest trends in viticulture, taste the wines, and enjoy a five-course finale candlelit dinner in The Ahwahnee's grand Dining Room.
2nd Annual Napa Valley Film Festival, Napa Valley, Calif., Nov. 7-11
This year's Napa Valley Film Festival will feature more than 100 independent films, including the highly anticipated documentary SOMM. Wine, dine, and meet the artists at events in Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga.
Around the World in 80 Sips – New York, New York City, Nov. 9
A night of sipping, and socializing. Taste more than 80 wines from around the world, including Italy, France, and Napa Valley, as well as gourmet cheeses and scrumptious charcuterie.
3rd Annual Boca Raton Wine and Food Festival, Boca Raton, Fla., Nov. 9-11
This three day, multi-sensory festival brings together more than 100 South Florida top chefs for a weekend of palate pleasing events. Incorporating unique twists on traditional wine and food events, including, Dinner Under the Stars, the Vineyard Party, a Perfect Pairing, the Grand Tasting, and ending with the Jazz Bubbles and Brunch.
75th Annual Northwest Food and Wine Festival, Portland, Ore., Nov. 10
A celebration of more than 600 fine wines from Oregon, Washington, and California, including Willamette Valley pinot noirs and Walla Walla cabernets. Portland restaurants will be on hand to offer gourmet food at this can't-miss event.
2nd Annual Garagiste Festival, Paso Robles, Calif., Nov. 10
The first and only wine festival focused on artisan garagiste winemakers that produce small-lot handcrafted wine. More than 45 wineries from around California are featured at this unique event.
4th Annual Artisano Grand Tasting, Santa Rosa, Calif., Nov. 17
