Labor Day weekend is a three-day weekend which also brings with it the end of summer. This holiday weekend is quite often spent on home and garden projects preparing for the fall, but many are also looking to have one last run of fun before saying goodbye to summer. Start the day slow with Yoga, then ease on into a kayak. Hit the trails for bike riding and walking and cool off at the Mist Tree or Gateway Fountain. Pick your seats carefully to make sure that Prairie View fans sit on the west side of the stadium and TSU fans on the east. Parking is $10 and tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com. Whet your whistle Labor Day weekend in Galveston at the BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival, the largest craft beer festival in Texas. For adults only, ticket prices vary.
