Thanksgiving Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
  • 6 large peeled potatoes. cubed
  • 3 cup water
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chives, chopped
  • salt to taste
Directions
  1. Place cubed and peeled potatoes in a medium sauce pan. Pour the 3 cups of water into the pot and bring to a boil. Keep the pot uncovered and allow to boil until potato cubes are soft to the touch.
  2. Drain the water and then place potatoes in a stand mixer. Pour in milk, butter and garlic and mix on medium until potatoes reach the desired consistency. Add more milk as needed.
  3. Stir in onions and chives, whip potatoes vigorously. Salt to taste.
