Foursquare Tips

  • Deep-fried Risotto Balls... YUM!
  • If you're with May, tell him to give up. He can't win.
  • Great sandwiches. Don't miss out on the sugar cane fountain soda while you're here.
  • There is pepper in everything I think...
  • They deliver their bread straight from Philly every morning.
  • The sandwiches are good but they no longer use Sarcone's bread and are really nothing compared to what you'd get in Phillly. Somewhat disappointing unless you've never had the real thing.
  • highly recommend the 9th Street Hoagie. Their bread is the best in DC
  • Grab a Boylan fountain pop to go with your sandwich!
  • Disregard previous tip. They no longer get bread delivered from Philly.
  • Try the risotto balls. They're magical.
  • Yelling my name louder because you can't pronounce it is twice as obnoxious.
  • Add turkey to the otherwise vegetarian Tasker st and you have the best turkey sandwich ever.
  • Get a 9th Street Italian.
  • I can't order anything but the Roast Pork and Broc Rabe sammie. Maybe mozz sticks. But I'm totally locked on that sandwich. And fountain cream soda.
  • Pearl Street. Heated up of course, because anything with Brie should really be a hot sammy! It was much better warm!
  • Place used to be hopping. Now it's dead. Could be due to poor customer service and music that drowns out the voice of the person calling your name.
  • The Locust w/oil & vinegar is a winner everytime!
  • Risotto balls are a must
  • GET THE RISOTTO BALLS. NOW.
  • 9th street Italian sub is the da best~
