  • The architecture and interior design gives it a colonial feel. The Tavern serves wines from the Mount Nittany Vineyard and Winery. This is a great place to bring your parents.
  • Great food, great service & prices, but little privacy; you can easily overhear boasters at nearby tables brag to hear their own voices, detracted from the meal.
  • be sure to have the Tavern cheesecake for desert
  • Great turkey feast! Good eating and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place! :-)
  • Creamery icecream
  • One of the best places to eat in State College. Unlimited sides with every meal! Try the spinach salad.

  • Love the unlimited sides. The mashed potatoes are great, but the applesauce is a must get!
  • Great food, make sure to call and make reservations if going on the weekend
  • Any main course is good. All come with your choice of as many sides as you like. Signature drink is the "Original Sin" with a house limit of 2 - for good reason. :-)
  • Crab and Spinach dip!
  • Peaceful place. Highly suggest there!
  • House merlot was wonderful; full bodied, even palate with a smooth smoky finish.
  • I got the prime rib Au poivre (in pepper) there was no pepper. In fact the sauce it sat it was sweet, too sweet. Some horse reddish cut it but I was disappointed.
  • Best brunch in town! All you can eat for $20
