Foursquare Tips

  • The tacos el pastor are hands-down amazing, which you can get from either the restaurant or the truck. The food is authentic and cheap - keeps us coming back!
  • Try the vegetarian taco. Creamy guacamole, a grilled spring onion, cotija cheese & drizzles of crema elevate the taco from humdrum to extraordinary. Its one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011.
  • Every taco is great, from the al pastor to the lengua (tongue). The grilled whole shallots are primetime!
  • Be sure to also check out their truck on 5th Ave & 37th St - classic spot!
  • Best tacos I've had in nyc for sure.
  • Order $25 or more takeout or delivery and get a free large bottle of Jarritos. The tacos are excellent and come with all the right fixin's.
  • Amazing tacos, particularly the campechanos and al pastor. Be careful of over ordering! 3 regular sized tacos is definitely enough.
  • Continuing on in my quest for my favorite carne enchilada in bk; this ones up there. Ps. The campechanos taco has suadero and chorizo in it. Daymn Gina.
  • Spicy pork taco!!!
  • good, inexpensive, down-home Mexican.
  • Small tacos are the authentic size, and you can eat always more
  • Perfect for a late night taco craving if you're in the area. Service is a bit slow, but the food comes out fresh and full of flavor. Solid dinner for less than $10 if you can help it!
  • They only have the cemitas at the restaurant and not on the truck. I get a mix of chorizo and carnitasthis gives the sandwich a little extra spice on top of the chipotle that's on all the cemitas.
  • Al Pastor and Chorizo tacos are superb.
  • Al pastor tacos are great. Very well priced and the servings are massive!
  • Just get the tacos! Tried the burrito and it's not even all that!
  • Chicken taco looks more like a vomit taco......
  • Don't get the tortas, they're pretty meh
  • You must get the Tacos al Pastor
  • Excellent tacos, I had lengua and barbacoa. I much prefer this place to the better known matamoros
