When these four men decided to branch off on their own, it was a bold move, one that was tested in the end of the last season — who knows what's in store ahead for them and the company. But, as part of a celebration of all things Mad Men-esque, we are posting this recipe for "Lobby Cookies," courtesy of Tabasco, in nod to their future successes.

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce, preferably tabasco pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. With an electric mixer at medium speed, beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, hot sauce, and vanilla in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Reduce the speed to low and then add the flour. Beat until blended. Stir in the chocolate chunks and walnuts.
  3. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake about 15 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheets for 5 minutes on wire racks. Remove wire racks to cool completely.
