Foursquare Tips

  • Go here for spicy, tasty & cheap Szechuan fare. Try shrimp w/ pickled turnips & spicy sauce for $10.95 or the Crispy Fried Duck for $12.95.
  • must get the bamboo. also, there's a cheap parking lot right across the street.
  • Get the scallion fried rice!
  • Cold rice noodles, garlic pork slices and fish with black peas are highly recommended!
  • Some of the best food I've ever had in Queens/NYC! Makes great leftovers to boot. Get anything with ml, especially the cold beef tendon!
  • Get the cucumbers in oil appetizer, but don't eat them until the spicier food has come out. You'll be thankful to have something to cool your mouth down after a few bites of the good stuff!
  • Dan dan noodles perfectly spiced and oiled down. A beautiful way to whet your appetite for the rest of the meal.
  • Incredible. Beef tendon. Jellyfish. Dan Dan noodles. Szechuan fish. There's so much good stuff. Numerous trips are necessary.
  • Scallion Fried Rice is life changing!!!
  • Everything
  • Try the scallion and egg fried rice, "tinted green from fragrant scallion oil and speckled with bits of fried egg and fresh scallions." It's a pro tip from the owner herself.
  • Get the shredded dry beef with spicy sauce!
  • Chicken Bobo. Delicious.
  • Try the bamboo in hot spicy sauce appetizer, the scallion fried rice, and the whole fish covered in fried bean curd. But really, whatever you order will blow you away. The food here is amazing!
  • Cheng Du Liang Fen (cold jelly) is must try !
  • Crispy whole tilapia in sweet and sour sauce is a real crowd pleaser. My favorite cold dish is the simple celery and dried bean curd.
  • .....mmmm conch
  • don't get the stinky tofu unless you REALLY mean it.
  • Proper Chinese food, not the usual bastardization.
  • Beef tendn in chili oil Cole appetizer and the tripe in spicy sauce for main dish. Also don't miss the sauted pea stems.
