Try the beer.

It doesn't get much warmer than outside temperatures; dress appropriately.

Come for the noise.

Don't eat yellow snow
Brett L.
Enjoy the architecture, come full and drunk because ordering at the bar is a chore.
Brett L.
Line (actually three of them) to get beer or food at the bar is crazy long. Not that fun.
Tim M.
Awesome picnic tables out front, cheap good beer and amazing sage fries with the best dipping sauce.
Kerry L.
Awesome place, come early enough to get some sun!
Devin N.
Its a treat on treat street. A real diamond in the ruff.

Food is meh, but grab some buddies & a brew and relax outside if it's sunny. Bring a pet for easy talking points. Bulldogs, please. No dogs that could fit in a bag.

It's like Zeitgeist for people afraid to get dirty.
Zezo O.
Kids n Bars dont mix well...the stroller crowd infests an otherwise awesome place on the weekend...if we cant drink in Dolores, kids shouldnt be allowed in bars...

Get the inexpensive house brewed beer, which comes in 6 varieties, and augment it by pub fare:

If you like IPAs go for the pale ale vs IPA and extra IPA. Trust.
Suraj A.
The Banh Mih is delicious and flavorful, the pickles are yummy, the burgers and house brewed beers are meh, but they stock lots of other beers too. The space is open and bright.
Toby C.
pilsner yo!
Jordan G.
Try the house porter. Better than the house stout.
Ace E.
Look for bo bo, its our first night out
Denaya D.
Beautiful space! Sort of a scene, but good beer and spacious. Wish it were my home.
Rafael M.
The bahn mi sandwich was mediocre. Really could have used some Sriracha. Save yourself the disappointment and go with a burger.
Ben R.
Great for large parties. The food is good and reasonably-priced, and the homemade garnishes - mustards, ketchup, pickles, make everything taste better!
Andy D.
The IPA is hoppy as fuck.

This is the first working brewery in the Mission since the 1950s, and you can count on $3 drafts and a menu of inventive but hearty eats. Expect a big back patio for whiling away sunny days.
Andy C.
Wouldn't accept my uk drivers license as proof of age. I am 35. Bizarre.
Lisa G.
Such a cool spot. I highly recommend the sage fries. Make sure you try the ketchup and mustard too! Homemade and packed with flavor, not what you would expect.
Sandra S.
Beers on tap not so cold - ask for icy glass
michael r.
Stick with the guest brews.
Phil M.
Idiots. Don't accept foreign IDs.
Raimo T.
They refuse to sell beer with valid European driver's licence.
Sophia C.
After a morning climb, get the beet salad with two eggs and brussel sprouts.
marcelo d.
Foreigners stay away! Unless you bring a passport you won't be able to get in, this really sucks
Ashley M.
If you're visiting from another country be sure to bring your passport. They don't accept most IDs.
Brendan N.
A huge space, good food, lots of good self-brewed beers and lots of natural light. Pretty unique in the Mission.
Giovanni Walter V.
The lentil burger rocks.

When your friends suggest going here, roll your eyes, heave a sigh, then gently suggest sitting outside at Mission Bowl instead, which has superior food & drinks and a similar, less hectic, ambiance.
Nick M.
A very cool bar, especially if you like beer
Ros d.
Don't skip on the sage fries. Go ahead, I won't call you fat afterwards.
