Foursquare Tips

  • The food here is phenominal!
  • This place is ridiculous. Your 1st check-in gets you a 50% off discount. But the dimwit up front won't redeem it bcz the manager isn't there WTF!!! Idiotic policy=No $$$ from me!!
  • Couldn't chew through the curry goat. The "cabbage" was mostly green peas & corn. Stick to the oxtails.
  • False advertisement went out of my way to try this place out with the discount they advertised on four square and the girl at the counter says she can't take it because the manager was not there bull!
  • This place is Delicioso..I couldn't decide on what I wanted cuz it all looked good . Settled with turkey wings collard greens and Mac & cheese.. YUM YUM!!!
  • Avoid the mac and cheese. Overcooked mac and floury cheese sauce lacks any real cheese flavour.
  • Yooooo....dem chicken n dumplings are on point!!! And that fruit punch is kicking!! If you like soul food or Caribbean, you gotta hit this spot up!! Pleeeeezzz believe it!!!
  • West Africans making soul food is a delightful idea, and that is what youll find at Soul Spot. The fried chicken is exemplary and its natural accompaniments are two African vegetables, yams and okra.
  • Great plantains and collard greens.
  • This Cobble Hill carryout joint, with a few tables for eating in, defines "soul" as broadly as possible to include Afro-Caribbean and even African cooking.
  • Amazing food!!!
  • Ordered 9 meals with my team at work. Most of us couldn't even finish it the food was so terrible. We all agreed that the fried shrimp and the candied yams were awesome
  • WARNING: They will NOT honor the ScoutMob deal or any other discount here.
  • I showed my four square discount and they said they no longer deal with four square so I paid full price. Super dissapointed:(
  • The food is soo good! I never know what to get because there are a lot of great options! The stew okra and baked chicken is delish! :)
  • "Supersavory" chicken and dumplings tread a delicious murky brown gravy. Moist meat loaf is slicked with an eerie but tasty candy-apple-red glaze. Nicely seasoned collards actually show signs of life.
  • I don't think you can get anything bad on the menu. I love this place!
  • Beef ribs appear to have been butchered by a psycho with a chain saw. The BBQ sauce is also far too sweet. Shame really because otherwise the food was awesome.
  • The Oxtail is simply amazing and as you would expect the fried chicken is on point. Collard greens also delicious.
  • Come early or else they'll run out of ribs.
