Snackshot of the Day: Oat Pumpkin Pancakes

Try these when you get sick of regular buttermilk pancakes.

The Daily Meal's editors, contributors, and readers dig into some pretty great restaurants, festivals, and meals. There's not always enough time to give a full review of a restaurant or describe in depth why a place, its food, and the people who prepare it are noteworthy, so Snackshot of the Day does what photographs do best, rely on the image to do most of the talking.

Today's Snackshot is of oat pumpkin pancakes. These pancakes are great for fall. They're made with pumpkin and banana, plus are spiced up with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves. They're so full of flavor, you wouldn't guess they're vegan. The pumpkin seeds and pomegranate as garnish add a little crunch and tartness to the dish.
