  • The soup dumplings are to die for...they're # 13 on 7x7's Big Eat SF 2010.
  • what's not to love?? There's a dumpling with fresh crab in it--DO NOT MISS. FYI do not expect glamour here. Divey realness.
  • Eat 10 or more xiao long baos
  • Steamy windows mean love.
  • SF Weeklys Best Of 2012 Winner Editorial Pick Best Movie/Dumpling Combination. Heres something purportedly fun: going to the movies. Heres something thats actually fun: skipping the exha...
  • Scallion pancakes and soup dumpling are heavenly good
  • Lion's Head Meatball Yum!
  • Go ride your bikes on out to the park, and after it gets foggy and chilly and you're hungry, go here and eat every single dumpling.
  • The scallion pancake is on point. Green beans are nice and not soaking in sauce. Lion's head meatballs are HUGE and def the size of a cat's head. Soup dumplings are good.
  • To avoid the always extremely hectic lunch crowd, come promptly at opening, at 11:00. Oops, now that I've shared this, I might not be able to get a table at 11 myself . . .
  • Soup dumplings aren't great but Lions Head Meatball Casserole/Soup is magical! Watch out for dirty soup spoons.
  • The vegetarian goose is awesome. Fried yuba (bean curd sheet) wrapped around vegetables with sweet and sour sauce.
  • Order only the eponymous dumplings. Most of the others are too sort of weird.
  • Unfortunately they only have pork soup dumplings. On the other hand they have many other vegetarian options including pot stickers and steamed dumplings.
  • Share a table, and if the cook wanders out and says "hey, I just made this, anybody want?" GRAB IT.
  • The server recommended the spicy pork & chive dumplings and I love him for it.
  • Get the xiao long bao, green beans, green onion pancakes, and puff pastry. You're welcome! www.enrout.com
  • Every one of my xiao long bao came broken. No soup for me! Beef fried rice was good though.
  • The prices have stayed low over the years, but the quality has gone way down.
  • Cash only but definitely worth it!
