Shame On Sandy: The Stars Come Out For Hurricane Relief

A variety show for the ages will be taking place Saturday night, Jan. 12, in New York City and it's for a great cause.

Shame on Sandy will bring together some of the country's top chefs and personalities, and they'll be performing and serving up food in order to raise funding to help those that are still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, which swept through the city the weekend before Halloween.

On hand will be chefs including Anthony Bourdain, Eric Ripert, and Mario Batali. Actors including Patrick Stewart, Abigail Breslin, and Stephanie March will also be performing, with luminaries like Reggie Watts and Gail Simmons rounding out the list. Food served will be provided by some of the city's finest restaurants, including The Breslin, Union Square Café, Le Bernardin, and Barbuto.

The event is the brain child of Melanie Dunea, the creator and photographer behind My Last Supper, a site where chefs and personalities reveal their food fantasies. It will be taking place at Highline Stages on West 15th Street.

Plenty of tickets are still available, and are selling for $150. One hundred percent of all ticket sales will go directly to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, to help families impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Tickets can be purchased here
