Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Directions
  1. In a 3 ½-6-quart slow cooker, insert a plastic liner if desired, or coat the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Add the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, oil, onion, garlic, and pepper. Add the chicken and mix with the sauce. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  2. Remove the chicken to plate, leaving the sauce in slow cooker. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker and stir into the sauce. Cover and cook the sauce on HIGH for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  3. Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and return to the pot, stirring. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
