Serena Williams And Marcus Samuelsson To Host 14th Annual BNP Paribas Taste Of Tennis
To kick off the US Open, Serena Williams and chef Marcus Samuelsson will host the 14th annual BNP Paribas Taste of Tennis on Aug. 22. The tasting event, which takes place in Midtown Manhattan's W New York from 7 p.m. to 10 pm., will feature dishes cooked by 28 renowned chefs.
The chefs who will be cooking at the event include: Top Chef Masters champion and Red Rooster Harlem's Samuelsson, Recette's Jesse Schenker, Kin Shop, The Marrow, and Perilla's Harold Dieterie, Barbuto's Jonathan Waxman, David Burke Group's David Burke and Zac Young, and more.
Professional tennis players, such as French Open champion and Olympic gold medalist Serena Williams, will be dining with event-goers at this tasting event.
Tickets are sold online, and the proceeds will benefit the James Beard Foundation.
