Sedona is a spiritual place; an Arizona retreat for those who seek restoration and healing among its beautiful landscape and stunning Red rocks. Here you’ll find a resort that captures the city’s healing powers and offers its own magical energy. The Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa is more than just a desert property, it is a sanctuary filled with luxurious accommodations, a soothing spa and plenty of outdoor activities to attract the most energetic of guests.
Guestrooms feature rich deep hues offset by crisp, linens and many boast amazing views. Among their suite choices, the Andalusia Suite is located on the third floor and features vaulted ceilings, a bedroom that opens to the living area, two bathrooms with walk-in showers, a living room with pull-out sofa bed, gas fireplace and step-out Euro balcony facing the Red Rocks.
Around the hotel, guests can lounge poolside, embark on a hiking adventure or relax at the spa. An oasis for the senses, the facility unites healing body therapies with pure scented oils, inspiring guests to “take a step out of time, center and re-become.” The spa’s extensive menu features treatments such as reflexology, cupping massages, myofascial bodywork, Thai massages and traditional Ayurvedic services. If you’d prefer a customized therapy, the staff is happy design a treatment around your individual needs.
The resort’s REDS restaurant is another big draw for locals and guests. Executive chef Ron Moler, a native of Tucson, is a devotee of comfort food but with a serious gourmet twist. Moler’s family’s rich tradition of cooking great food informs his kitchen’s output. Specialties include mussels and chorizo, caramelized sea scallops, Greg Norman’s famous natural Wagyu beef and vegetable. REDS serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features live evening entertainment daily.
Currently, the property is undergoing a significant expansion, set for completion in late 2015. The main element of the project is a new two-story building of 32 additional rooms and suites, boasting even more high-end accommodations to the resort’s offerings. Along with the guest rooms, lush gardens and an outdoor venue will be added on, all the while preserving the property’s precious Sedona red rock views.
