Schedule Released For Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival

The streets of New York will again soon be filled, as food aficionados get ready for the fifth annual Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival.

From October 11th to the 14th, 500 chefs, culinary personalities and Food Network stars will share their culinary knowledge with the foodies of New York. During the four-day culinary adventure, 120 different events are planned including a roast of celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain and Meatball Madness; a competition hosted by Giada De Laurentiis where 25 chefs compete to make the best meatballs. Blue Moon's Burger Bash is also back with host Rachael Ray to showcase some of the best burgers the city has to offer.

New York City Wine & Food Festival organizer Lee Schrager says that between all the great events, "it's impossible to choose" any one favorite.

Tickets are set to go on sale Monday June 25 and range from $75 to $500 depending on the event. All of the proceeds from the event benefit the Food Bank of New York City and Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign. Since 2007, over $5 million has been raised to help fight hunger.
