The premium pie starts with freshly made dough and is covered with a layer of garlic-infused oil. A creamy white sauce made with whole milk ricotta comes next, and then it’s then topped with 100% whole milk mozzarella, romano and asiago cheeses. Each pizza is finished with fresh Italian parsley and features a flavored asiago garlic herb crust.
This premium pie will be available at participating Sbarro eateries until August 5, 2015. Guests can also upgrade to a combo meal for added value at a minimal additional charge.
According to Technomic, cheese is growing in popularity, and customers are looking to experience more premium cheeses. “We decided to celebrate the classic white pizza this summer,” said Cindy Dyer, Director of Brand Marketing. “We are utilizing quality, savory cheeses that our customers love, and believe guests will enjoy this new flavor of our NY style pizza.”
