Foursquare Tips

  • The Whole Chicken here is by no means ordinary: buttery and crispy and so delicious it made our Best of Philly list.
  • The best, most relaxing, yet sophisticated lunch in the area. Stop by any weekday between 11:30 and 2:30. Highly recommended.
  • Over 1000+ wines in their cellar! Amond (the patron saint of wine) is smiling down on you!
  • This place has the best winelist, with over 1,000 different bottles to choose from.
  • Food is good but the place is stuffy. I can put my napkin in my own lap thank you very much
  • There's not many options in the Burbs, but you won't be disappointed with this one. Most everything is cooked right and the desserts are fantastic. Free valet parking.
  • Overpriced and pretentious. Valet parking mandatory (the valet said that it's because they sometimes get a rowdy crowd...at a place with $35 entrees and $15 cocktails?). Food hit and miss.
  • Get the pizza
  • The Caesar salad was great , service was good , grapefruit punch cocktail was delicious
  • The bartender- Carmen is amazing! He will customize a cocktail just for you.
  • Overrated - much better suburban Philly restaurants
  • the best restaurant in Philadelphia...service is superb...both the main menu as well as bar savona are impeccable. everything from pizzas to dover sole to the innovative cocktails is not to miss!
  • Awesome restaurant with amazing seasonal choices. Service is the best part here.
  • The Marco Castro is the best pizza on the menu. It has sliced pancetta, San Marzano tomatoes, peppery arugula, thin-sliced red onion and lemon juice all on crispy crust. Delicioso!
  • Ask Carmine what wine to drink. He knows
  • the porcini dusted Lamb is unbelievably good.
  • The service specialists here have added a new twist to coffee, brewing each cup tableside in a bare-bones manner, using a stone-trayed pour-over trolley and just-below-boiling water.
  • Over priced. Horrible service. Reservations for 8:30 PM. Got seated 45 minutes later. Wait staff didn't address. Waiter plunked a baguette into a glass of water. Food mediocre. Pretentious.
