San Francisco Beer Week: Feb. 10-19

Pack your bags. You'll want to go to California. We're thinking San Francisco. On Feb. 10, beer drinkers will rejoice in the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco for San Francisco Beer Week 2012. With more than 50 breweries, this nine-day event involves unlimited sampling some of the most interesting and newest beers breweries have to offer. Of course, there will also be delicious food from local purveyors to wash it all down. The event, which is sponsored by the San Francisco Brewers Guild, added nanobrewers to this year's lineup, who will be pouring their best brews next to craft brewers.

Some of the breweries among the confirmed (for now) 70 breweries include 21st Amendment Brewery, ThirstyBear Brewing Company, and Triple Voodoo Brewing Company. The full list of all the confirmed breweries can be found here. For the ladies (sorry fellas) who want to learn about brewing, the ladies of Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing will teach you all about the process Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Healthy Spirits will be releasing their second barrel-aged beer, brewed with fresh coffee beans from Blue Bottle Saturday, Feb. 11at 11 a.m. at their shop. The San Francisco Beer Week takes place from Feb. 10-19. For specific events, refer to the schedule of events posted on their web site here. Tickets are available for $65.
