Foursquare Tips

  • You MUST order the eggs on eggs on eggs - uni and white sturgeon caviar on a bed of scrambled eggs. One of the best things I've ever eaten. The steak for 2 is also delicious.
  • A long and interesting sake menu with craft cocktails and smart, intricate small plates far beyond usual bar grub.
  • Finally made it. Loved this place! My must eats: Torched Uni Crostini, Foie Gras Chawanmushi, Beef Tartare w Bone Marrow, Pork Bun & of course Egg on Egg on Egg, just get it trust me!
  • Each decadent bite of the Egg on Egg on Egg makes you feel like you want to eat one every night & go for another round in the morning. Read more about my quest for uni dishes at www.urchinsurchin.com
  • The egg on egg on egg is crazy decadent. And they will overpour your sake on purpose...ask them about it
  • Pork belly buns, sea bass w/ bok choy and mushrooms, and black peppercorn ice cream. And, obviously, the egg on egg on egg.
  • Really liked the featured sake. Uni tostada, egg on egg on egg, and the grilled octopus were all delicious.
  • Go for the egg on egg on egg
  • Definitely get the egg on egg - you won't regret it (size IS a bit small though). The beef tartare is pretty yum too.
  • The Egg on Egg on Egg is an obvious must, but also try the ramen with bone marrow and uni!
  • Egg on egg on egg. Must try!
  • We came here the night we got engaged. We had a group of 15 people made up of family and friends. They put us up in the private group room for no extra charge. Take advantage of this!
  • Order the ento smoke cocktail. It has a truly distinct smell and there's else like it.
  • pass on the fried chicken. get the egg trio and 35 day aged steak. share everything and sit in the back next to the fireplace to impress your date :)
  • wear bug spray. I have giant welts on my legs.
  • Cozy place, however when we got there they were out of many dishes! But overall was pretty good food! Try their Gelato,it's worth it !
  • The tasting menu is not of large portion but so good! After finishing the last dessert, I feel if they served me the whole tasting menu again I would finish all in 10 minutes.
  • My favorite restaurant in NYC. The tsukune (chicken meatballs) are the best you'll ever taste.
  • Egg on egg on egg.
  • First Bloody Mary in the city that I can actually enjoy (and I love bloodys). The green tea soba noodle dish was the unexpectent hit. Loved the Arctic char ceviche and black sesame creme brle also!
