Foursquare Tips

  • You want fusion? Try this: The Spicy Brisket Bahn Mi. Slow-stewed meat with shredded vegetables.
  • The food isn't as good as everyone says. they just want you to eat as quickly as possible and get out so they can get new customers. So they will ask you if you are done when you still have food
  • Cash only!!!!
  • Our go-to spot in the village, everything here is just really really tasty. We highly recommend the pho, spring rolls, and bahn mi.
  • Fried spring rolls, pork summer rolls, grilled pork chop pho, and grilled pork chop bahn mi. Yes.
  • Don't tip too much - because they will call you out and then that can be entertaining
  • Worst dining experience in NYC to date. One of the waitresses was extremely hostile, collected my plate while I was eating, gave me dirty looks and spoke to another waitress while gesturing to me.
  • Bring lots of cash, because they don't take plastic and everything is delicious!
  • Crab cake banh mi and variety of pho are delicious. Wash down with a Vietnamese iced coffee.
  • Get the sweet potato fries. They do not disappoint.
  • I take out either the Chicken Pho, Beef Ball Pho, Catfish Bahn Mi atleast 2x a week. Soup is amaze. Best (and only?) Vietnamese place in the area.
  • Dan wu goes here a lot be careful!
  • Open until 2AM on weekends, this Vietnamese place focuses on banh mia porky classic is $5 & a spicy brisket version is $8and pho w/toppings from lemongrass chicken to pork chops ($7$8).
  • The food is delicious. Service is very quick. There is usually a line, but it goes fast. It's cheap and cash only. My favorite dish is duck with rice.
  • great for a quick lunch! I had to wait ~10 min outside but they took my order in line and my food came basically as soon as I sat down
  • The veggie pho and the catfish vermicelli was amazing . So was the special of the day crab cakes.
  • I accidentally got my mother addicted to the Lemongrass Chicken Pho.
  • Although everyone comes here for the super tasty (and cheap) sandwiches, the Vietnamese drip coffee is awesome! Cash only by the way so plan ahead.
  • As a native Vietnamese, I'd say the food is pretty authentic. However the staff just can't be any ruder I don't know what the hell is wrong with them or with me. Ruined my otherwise good experience.
  • Obsessed with their pho!
