Try the Cavitini with Imperial Vodka made from wheat and rye served dry, chilled and up with 10-grams Hackleback Caviar and olives. It's a classic Russian cocktail and absolutely delicious.

Order caviar anything; the sturgeon is delicious, moist and comforting.

Rasputin Cocktail Rocks! Don't miss it.

Hands-down worst service in nyc. Seated 2 hours before appetizers arrived... 4 hours and $250 for an unimpressive dinner for 2. Avoid!

the tea service is a great reason to stop in here for a meeting or on a stroll through midtown.

Enjoy High Tea in style, or grab a cocktail in this Gossip Girl filming location from Season 2. Just don't get arrested like Serena.
Carol B.
the appetizer with eggplant is wonderful!

The Duck Blini is to die for. Also the Czar's ice cream nougat with 14k gold is amazing

Try to find all 3 Chagalls

Established 1927 by former Russian Imperial Ballet members. Crossed the street 1929 to brownstone from 1875. Building remodeled in 2006, retaining restaurant as original. Frequented by celebrities.

For an over-the-top dining/drinking experience head here. On Mon-Fri between 5-7pm it's 'Vodka Hour' where you can taste 2 vodkas for $14; stay for dinner and opt for one of their vodka cocktails.

Tried this place out for Restaurant Week - the food was truly terrible to the point that I don't plan to ever come here again.

Why all the comments that there are no Russian foods on the menu? Funny, many of the dishes are in my Russian cookbook.
LLOYD L.
#nonstopnyc delta and the Russian tea room are the best!
Anna K.
Teas are amazing. Try to come for the afternoon tea where you get scones and pastries. Decor is very lavish and old Russian. Def a nyc must see.

Good for lunch before a show. Very rich food and very expensive.
Ilene M.
Never again!

Try the Chocolate Pyramid Dessert. It will make you happy! Almost as happy as seeing Bethany will make you. :-)
John K.
The service was terrible. I know people feel compelled to come to this place because it's iconic.... but go to another icon. This place was patently unimpressive
Cathy A.
Drink the Russian Vodka!

The second first flush Darjeeling teas are my favorite
Evgenia L.
Fancy and expensive place. Nobody speaks Russian there.
Karl S.
The French Onion Soup was OK; the Beef Stroganoff would have been good (though way overpriced) if it hadn't been *so* overwhelmed with the truffle. It was so strong it was nauseating. Avoid, too $$$
Kendall B.
High tea was lovely!
James P.
Thinks its way better than it is. Any London hotel afternoon tea puts this to shame.
