Robinson Cano's Domino Effect And We're Not Talking Sugar

Last night there was no shortage of superheroes, stars or sponsors for Robinson Cano's fundraiser and domino tournament for his RC24 Foundation. NYC's, The 40/40 Club hosted the charity event and as always brought out the heavy hitters. In attendance were, NY Yankees all-star, CC Sabathia, NBA superstar Kevin Durant, R&B songstress, Melanie Fiona, Fashion Model, Jessica White and of course, Jay-Z.

In typical Jay-Z fashion, guests were greeted by hosts pouring champagne from the large-format bottles of celebrity favorite, Armand de Brignac and noshed on 40/40 wings, which are baked and fried (a secret Sherwin Robinson, 40/40 Club manager let me in on), 40/40 club burgers and fried shrimp. "Everything was really special and unique last night, we always like to bring the 'wow' factor. Our special cocktail of the night was the D'usse 'Code', the crowd seemed to love it." Robinson shared. Pop Chips were placed at each table and around the bar, Aquacai bottles were being passed around and Pepsi was the non-alcoholic beverage of choice. A successful night indeed for the MLB superstar and his foundation.

The mission of the RC24 Foundation is to positively impact the lives of underserved children and communities from New York to the Dominican Republic, both locally and globally. The Foundation has established and engaged in various initiatives that expand opportunities for improved outcomes in the areas of youth development and community healthcare.
