To celebrate summertime, The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles has announced a bevy of new culinary and beverage options for guests. The summer program features seasonal wines, tasty cocktails, small plates and sweet desserts, all served at their WP24 Rooftop Patio.
Found on the 26th floor, the WP24 Rooftop Patio is now open to the public for the first time in the property's five-year history and will now be host to several upcoming events. From June 21 to September 21 is Sticks & Suds, a pre-set menu of eight skewers featuring Kurobuta pork belly satay, organic chicken satay, cumin Colorado lamb satay, and prime beef satay with Thai red curry. Each plate will be paired with a Tiger beer for $20 a person.
The upcoming summertime grilling series begins on July 10 and will be held every Friday and Saturday, ending on September 5. The menu will feature fresh-to-order plates of Roasted Kurobuta Pork Banh Mi with pickled vegetables, cilantro and chilies; Red Snapper Ceviche with Aji Amarillo, citrus, basil and cilantro; and Grilled Prawns with coconut sticky rice, pickled vegetables and red curry.
WP24 Restaurant’s new Executive Pastry Chef Megan Potthoff is excited to debut her new menu full of fresh fruit from her favorite California suppliers. Standouts include Tamai Farms strawberries with white chocolate cream and lime sponge; mango cheesecake with coconut cream, crispy rice shortbread and a passion fruit sorbet; and a “Creamsicle” served with Garcia Farms tangerines, citrus semifreddo and coconut crispy tangerines.
Other highlights from The Ritz include the 24 Sips of Summer’s curated wine list and the Summer Garden to Glass cocktail series that offers three new libations made with fresh fruit and herbs from the hotel’s rooftop garden. Make sure to make a reservation for each program offering.
