Foursquare Tips

  • Better than kinton!
  • I liked it, but didn't LOVE it. The gyozas were great, karage needed more flavor. I would go back. I also love how huge the place is, not like all the smaller competitors.
  • Ryerson students can get 10% off their meal. Bring your student card and speak to your server for more details. (P.S. Try their "Poutine du Japon"!)
  • Pretty good broth. There are a ton of ramen places popping up all over so.. Need a break from ramen ;)
  • pretty good fried chicken
  • They have really good soup broth. It's much better than it use to be
  • Check-In and their Facebook page for a free topping on your ramen.
  • Try the Ko-hee-zelee coffee jelly dessert!! It's amazing
  • Good portions, tasty Ramen and ample space. Broth here is good and Ramen variety is better than most. Definitely top 3 or 4 in Toronto
  • Best chicken karaage! Also love their gyoza!
  • I tried their newest menu item which is a Tonkotsu but with a mixed chicken and pork broth that is creamy. Actually tasted very good. I like this place better than Kinton.
  • The bamboo charcoal and miso ramen is the highlight here. Gyoza's aren't bad. Affordable prices.
  • Not the best ramen shop in the area, soup base rather bland, same with the noodles. Unlikely to come back despite a discount for Ryerson students.
  • Karage was really bland, gyozas were ok, tonkatsu was really salty but not bad. It's unfortunate because the place is really clean and the service is really great.
  • Soup had an odd creamy texture to it which wasn't tasty. The spaciousness doesnt work either, not for a ramen shop, and takes away any character. Definitely at the bottom of the list for Toronto ramen
  • Long line up. Waited even longer for the food after ordering. I think the kitchen is still trying to get their "flow" right. So I can see room for improvement in the future. Good ramen!
  • Gyokai Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. Milky fish broth with 5 soy sauce. Much lighter than you'd expect, and not really salty. Like the rest of the place, it's quite good!
  • Tonkotsu Tsuke-Men ramen ...Hummm!
  • The staff are friendly and the food comes fast. I prefer the ramen here as compared to that of kinton.
  • The best takoyaki I've tasted in Toronto! Their tsukemen is also good, their miso ramen is ok too. Gyoza is ok but not the best
