Foursquare Tips

  • Ragazza's kale salad is one of the best in the city. Hands down.
  • Great food and pizza, but I recommend just getting a whole bottle of wine. Their pours can be a little conservative. -Veronica B.
  • Try our current favorite: the Bianca, with onion crema, preserved lemon and wild arugula. As the weather warms up, keep in mind that the back patio is open for seating:
  • Put an egg on it.
  • Get an egg on it, so worth it.
  • 7x7's Big Eat 2012 says the amatriciana pizza is delicious. Yum!
  • One of the best of the seasonal pizza poets is Sharon Ardiana of Gialina and Ragazza, and one of her best pies this year captured the drizzly, gray appeal of the fall and early winter.
  • Bianca pizza = to die for. As is their Arancini, pulled Mozzarella and Liver Pt.
  • Kale salad
  • Now, Ragazza is not just a pizza place. Youll definitely want to start with one of Ardianas salads. (Listen to your mother! Eat your greens!)
  • I have to literally force myself to try something other than the amatriciana each time. One of my very favorite pizzas in the city, period.
  • Pizza is consistently too salty.
  • Try and get a table on the back patio - a hidden oasis.
  • The mozzarella and tomato salad with brown butter is insane.
  • By far the best Neapolitan style pizza in the area. Kale salad and pastas are killer as well.
  • Have a glass of wine in the back patio garden while you wait for your table.
  • Nettle pizza! Don't know what nettles are? Prepare to be amazed by the bold, nutty flavor of this little green. Also love the potato pizza. P.s. I hate Tiramisu but I LOVED this one!
  • BLT pizza & amatricana, you had me at hello.
  • Look no further for your Lower Haight pizza fix because Ragazza's pies are super satisfying with toppings like crisp bacon, wild nettles, roasted potato, and sweet corn.
