Foursquare Tips

  • You should support them because they stayed open for the neighborhood during Sandy.
  • The serve Stumptown and sell their beans. They also have steel cut oats in the morning. If there's a better coffee shop in this part of NYC I'd love to know about it. Seems improbable.
  • Any place that plays the Mulan soundtrack as background music is stellar in my book.
  • They use Stumptown single-origin coffees and carefully pull espressos.
  • Check out the artwork on the walls. They showcase historical photographs and drawings of the neighborhood. I think the buildings in the photo are still standing.
  • That chocolate chip cookie doe.
  • Stumptown and Black Flag. Yes, sir.
  • The scones here are phenomenal. The third flavor is forever changing. Really glad it's no longer cheddar. It governed my mornings.
  • These guys are killing it. Great coffee, friendly and helpful staff. Definitely going out of my way to make sure I support this new business. They have super good homemade cookies too.
  • The new chai is really, really good. Get it!
  • New neighborhood spot that has everything from nutella hot chocolate (what?) to anericano to Arnold Palmer. Cute inside! Coffee is stumptown and they have cold brew!
  • Get the Nutella hot chocolate! Delish!
  • Solid drip coffee from stumptown toasters.
  • The barista with the fuchsia hair is delightful. Also the cold brew is good.
  • Love their latte. There's a cute little corner for kids to play with toys. Really nice to sit and get work done on your computer. They use the Perka app as their punch card system.
  • Place is good. It's got a pseudo family vibe to it, no pour overs. They really rely on their espresso machine. No decaf drip. They use Stumptown beans. Overall a nice place to stop in
  • Great coffee, fast wifi and great people working there. Being a "slave of laundromat" I appreciate when I ask for quarters and they give me their last ones. My heroes!
  • Excellent neighborhood spot. Extremely friendly staff, clean store and good coffee. Noticed that they are using iPad and Square payment systems- very progressive and great for customers.
  • Friendly, quirky staff. I wouldn't say they make you feel like you're "at home" but more like at some other comfortable, slightly off eat place you like a lot.
  • Very slow lines.
