Foursquare Tips

  • Fun atmosphere, great bar scene. Very classic French restaurant - so loving French food is a necessity. Great wine list.
  • Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar and chat with Ian the bartender/manager. He's a great guy and mixes fabulous cocktails. Order the cheese plate (served with H+F bread) and get the tartare.
  • Raw Bar- Little Bitches oysters are amazing!
  • Catching up after too many years with one of my fave friends and political sparring partners @KeithDunnavant
  • You can find classic recipes like croque monsieur and steak frites here made with local and regional ingredients. The beverage menu also speaks to today, reflecting Atlantas recent cocktail revival.
  • The beer list sticks to the slightly Southern theme with local brews from Sweetwater and Orpheus in addition to Belgian brews including Brouwerij Verhaeghe and Bosteels.
  • Gnocchi was amazing
  • Best raw bar in town
  • Staff a little too attentive (check in very five minutes), food good but pricey for what it is. Oysters were also 3$ each but small. Comparatively, they have a long way to go still.
  • French conquistador

  • First night of service. Great cocktails, great food, excellent service. Definitely will be coming back.
  • Definitely start with a cocktail - the list (by bar manager Ian Cox - ranges from classics to some inventive new options.
  • Steak frites is legit.
  • This French American bar and restaurant is the latest project from Top Chef alum Eli Kirshtein. The Luminary serves a variety of great dishes like the New Orleans barbecue shrimp and toast.
  • Valet parking is $2 + tip. Food is good, service ranges from overly enthusiastic to bored.
