Foursquare Tips

  • One of the best French bakeries in the borough with great bread and some standout sweetsespecially the bread pudding.
  • Great place but they absolutely need to plan for the weekend rush. They constantly run out of croissants and other baked goods.
  • Try everything and take home a loaf of bread,
  • If you are in the mood for tea, get the "Rainforest." Add some honey and it is like a dessert soup of complete refreshing breath of fresh air. Utmost excellent tea I have ever had.
  • The best mult-grain bread I've tasted - holidays it's a good idea to order before- but it's worth it!
  • Rosemary Focaccia with Hazelnut Coffee, yum!!!
  • You can taste each of their loaves of bread before buying . Be careful! You may leave with one of each loaf!
  • Pastries pop fresh from the oven at 7AM, 11AM, and 2PM, daily. Don't miss out on the almond croissant.
  • Amazing croissants-both sweet and savory. Best bread in New York. Feels like you're in France. Just got new espresso machine from Florence-great coffee is on the way.
  • The almond croissants are delicious! You can also see the bakers working on the next batch of deliciousness thru the windows
  • Chocolate Croissants, onion soup, raisin walnut bread, sandwiches, latte
  • Best coffee. Amazing pastries.
  • Fresh bread and pastries (try the scone) and they have salads in the fridge. There's also cold brewed iced coffee, but no bathroom.
  • Fresh and new everyday.
  • I love this place, but holy shit are they slow. 10 minutes just to order a sandwich that you can't take out of the fridge yourself anymore? No thanks...
  • The best croissants in New York City (and I'm French.). It gets completely packed on weekends, but it is worth it to stay and enjoy your delicious meal.
  • Try the eclair :-)
  • The line can be a bit chaotic and unorganized but it's worth it. If you see seats open up at the communal tables, try to snag them. The espresso, croissants, quiches and homemade jams are all musts!
  • Delicious soups & salads on top of all the yummy baked goods. Love the flan too
  • The croissants are bigger and better then they were when they first opened. Tasty.
