Foursquare Tips

  • Asahi Black on tap. Japanese waitresses you have to beat in scissors-paper-stone to get to your edamame. Customised wet towels. Perfectly perfected food (if a little on the tiny side). Heaven. Sigh.
  • Avocado tuna tar tar.
  • Nice food & gd service. Will b back!
  • Amazing authentic Japanese izakaya. Fun and friendly staff. Get a seat by the river.
  • Few restaurants like katanashi can be considered as both fun and flavourful (food-wise)!
  • This spot may be easy on the wallet but be aware that they use frozen chicken for their fried chicken side dish. U can tell when u get to the bones; the blood is a frozen dull red. Meat tasted limp
  • If you are looking for a good Japanese food this is a great place with amazing people working there!
  • Easy on the wallet and fun tasty dishes. The salmon rice bowl is fantastic. The menu feels like the result of Japanese college kids listening to Afroman and making up dishes - in a good way =)
  • Great service! Staff were super friendly. Expect fusion japanese food, not your traditional sushi kinda place. Recommend the omelette and tofu salad!
  • Aburi salmon, hanpen cheese, mentaiko kimichi udon, kakuni pork belly and gyusuji beef tendon miso stew are simply divine. Prices are reasonable. Love this place
  • Salmon Gohan butter rice is good.
  • Highly recommended. Good service, friendly staff, good food, and nice ambience.
  • Spectacular set lunches at $12! Delicious raw fish with fresh wasabi.
  • Really value for money lunch sets! The beef don was flavourful and rice damn soft!
  • Try to get a seat inside! It's casual and fun to watch and listen to what's going on!
  • Saba so good!
  • Super-cheery staff, very affordable food though small portions. Cute handwritten wet napkins.
  • ( - 6,5$, - 8,5$). . .
  • Decent fare :)
