Foursquare Tips

  • James Hoban's has partnered with Womply to offer $20 cash back after 3 visits
  • Always great service here.
  • Go here on Wednesday nights for trivia. Be prepared for delightfully bad singing in the third round of questions.
  • Worst 'Irish' pub in the city by a country mile
  • Not sure what's special about this place. Nothing really, that I can tell. Meh.
  • Try the James Hoban ale - a good unique ale alternative.
  • Cheap bottomless mimosas, if you can suffer through the horrible service. We sat for 2.5 hours before getting a side of bacon.
  • Phenomenal 90s music at Sunday brunch.
  • So Irish!! Had a great selection of beers & friendly barstaff. Loved em so much we partnered up--come to Drink the District: Beer Edition, July 28 for exclusive chances to win James Hoban gift cards!
  • Disappointed in the service -- waitress that refuses to provide good service, but placed 20% gratuity on the bill.
  • Great shepherd's pie, pot pie and Irish stew too.
  • Try to get Douglas for brunch, he's the best! Keeps the bottomless mimosas coming :)
  • This I must declare: the ham and pickle sandwich is quite possibly the best sandwich at Hoban's.
  • One of the best Irish pubs in the city!
  • Very more service, it took almost an hour to get our food
  • Crab dip is the best
  • Worst service ever!
  • Try the Tuscan Bahn Mi
  • If you like Football(soccer); good place to catch matches!
  • I ordered shepherds pie, but received some type of beef stew. Also, they did't have any "James Hoban Ale". My wife's meal was perfect (pot pie.)
