Foursquare Tips

  • Best Spanish food in SF. Get the tortilla and chicken paella. Ol!
  • The Gin Tonics are made with Indi tonic.
  • Veggie paella is delicious
  • Tapas, paella, wine, ambiance
  • Good sherry selection. Nice selection of vegetarian tapas too.
  • The T-bone steak is so so so good. Also great cocktails. The back area is first come first serve
  • The jamn iberica that bears the restaurant name was delicious but can't say it merits the $30 price tag. #sfexuberance
  • Really cool tapas place. Enjoyed the Jamon and Albondingas.
  • A beautiful space. Inventive Spanish cuisine that has a bit of a California twist to it. Some dishes were a miss but overall a lovely experience.
  • Paella isn't very authentic but it's not bad.
  • come for the paella, stay for the great service, ambiance + cocktail list. bring friends, lounge a while.
  • Get a pitcher of sangria
  • Try the paneled (dropped) ceilings, apple juice casks. The mescal WILL come through. Watch out for fish bones on the spine.
  • This is a drinks only review. The Rocinante with peppered gin was a boozy spin in a martini / vesper. The cocktail menu here is excellent, just rock up at the bar and grab a drink. Not sure ask Colin.
  • Spanish-influenced restaurant from the folks behind Absinthe and boxing room. There's a lounge area where they host live music :)
  • As someone who has spent a lot of time in Spain, this place is legit.
  • The staff was very accommodating as our party grew from 6 to 8 and the porter house was perfect to share
  • The gin selection is a matrix.
  • Standouts: jamon iberico - basically the reason for the name Bellota. Cooked chunks of pork shoulder in the paella. Churros are more like donuts, but really good. And the semifreddo is AWESOME
  • Albario, tomato salad, half and half paella.
