  • Angel is one of my favorite bartenders in Portland. She always makes tasty and creative beverages.
  • The tapas combine similar levels of comforting familiarity and playfulness: beef & potato "bombas" in a suitably spicy sauce; an almost-savory sangria is the perfect drink. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Potato bravas along with many others were some of our favourite dishes during our week long stay in culinary exquisite city.
  • PORTLAND MONTHLY named the xuixos de crema ("perfect croissant dough... vanilla-bean speckled custard cream... roll in cinnamon, sugar, Sichuan pepper") one of the "10 things to devour in 2014."
  • Taste the flavors of Barcelona at Ataula, where Spanish chef Jose Chesa channels Michelin-starred restaurant experience into tapas classics, paellas, and a knockout Sunday brunch.
  • Absolutely recommend going. Amazing food and great service.
  • Pricey, but oh so good. Highly recommend the montadito on the picar list and the nuestras bravas are off the chart
  • Food was over the top amazing. Top two favorites were the tartare and nuestras Bravas.
  • Yummy. Great spot for a date.
  • Chorizo and Spanish cheese.
  • Spanish ham
  • It's worth the wait! Paella Ataula is delicious and I'd recommend grabbing on and then sharing a couple of other small dishes. Left filling extremely satisfied and wishing I had room to try more.
  • Service and the fantastic drinks!
  • Paellas and tapas. Vermouths and Spanish wines.
  • Great authentic Spanish cuisine. Amazing small plates and great service.
  • Thinly sliced potatoes!
  • The Xuixo is amazing!
  • Also, have to have the mini xiuxo, fried croissant filled with custard. Amazing!
  • Great tapas place, no crazy wait either. Loved Nuestras Bravas and Bombas BCN. Paella is also good. But I think toro bravo makes a better squid ink pasta. Awesome sangria. Will be back.
  • Angel the bartender is the best. Her warm spirit and expertise in the craft leaves you totally impressed. The food is Spanish with a Catalan twist. Get anything with octopus, especially the paella.
