Foursquare Tips

  • Located in a market, most of the dishes on the menu are under $8. They have multiple levels of spice, including "thai spicy" if you are feeling adventurous.
  • Great hole in the wall! This tiny eatery masquerades as Thai market. Get beef Thai fried rice. Don't wait to be seated. Packed for lunch. Food takes a while sometimes because it's a small kitchen.
  • Could any restaurant be more quintessentially Houston than a strip center grocery store that serves killer Thai food? It is consistently delicious, fiercely spicy and a must try. [Eater 38 Member]
  • The food can be ordered in 3 levels: mild, spicy, and very spicy. If you don't frequently eat spicy food, get mild. 'spicy' was wayy to hot
  • Underbelly Chef Chris Shepherd recommends the salted preserved duck egg curry and the papaya salad.
  • Thai Som Tum, Kee Mao Noodles, Kang Ped Nor Mai Curry and Veggie Ka Ree Puff is my regular to-go order!
  • Let them know if you want vegetarian curry - they will use a mushroom stock instead of the shrimp stock.
  • Delicious Thai Food
  • Try the Kanom Jeen Na Ya - Delicious spicy tasty! Not fishy at all!
  • Best Authentic Thai food !!!!
  • BTW. Best Thai iced tea. Yum-yum!
  • Must try the green curry with coconut milk. Delicious! Also important, they stop seating 30 minutes prior to closing, so get there soon before the kitchen closes. Great staff and very friendly
  • Everything is good here. Don't ask for mild if you don't want chiles in your food. When ordering for my kids I ask for "zero spice." Try the kee mao noodles.
  • Inside track: Order your food "hot" instead of "Thai hot" if you hope to escape relatively unscathed.
  • Don't miss: Pork larb; pad Thai Ayutthaya style; pad kee mao (broad noodle stir-fry with basil); yum vun sen (glass noodle salad); panang chicken curry with Thai eggplant.
  • Excellent food, great prices, worst parking in the city.
  • Kee Mao Noodle (seafood) is delicious! You pay at the cashier counter and the kitchen closes at 7:30pm so you will not be able to eat there. The store closes at 8:00pm.
  • The Thai Fried Rice with Chicken, the spring rolls, the chicken wings and the curry is good...it's just Goooood
  • Try the Baby Bamboo Soup -
  • Try the Nam Tok Nua -
