Foursquare Tips

  • Asakusa. Shabby but awesome. I could eat their Nasu Dengaku for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Awesome sushis and Sashimis place in London, great value !
  • This is where the Japanese will go for Japanese food. Must try the aubergine coated with miso sauce. Reserve at least a day before, otherwise you've to wait till 9.30pm or later.
  • Best, and most honest, Japanese spot in town. It really is like being in an izakaya in Tokyo.
  • Best sushi & sashimi place ever in london
  • If you order sushi it takes 20mins to be ready. However, it's really great with reasonable price.
  • Best katsu in London? Without a doubt!
  • Fantastic authentic Japanese cuisine, all freshly cut sashimi - Tai (Sea Bream) sashimi is a must have
  • Fantastic food that doesn't burn a hole in my pocket. Good service to boot. :)
  • Our favourite Japanese restaurant in London.
  • The food really does live up to the hype and it wont burn a big hole in your pocket. Read our full review on Scoff London: http://scofflondon.com/restaurants/dinner-at-asakusa-nw1/
  • One of the 1st Jap restaurants I tried in London after a long run around Regents Park. Looks like a traditional Japanese noodlehouse with lots of kanji scribed on the wall, very busy so try to book!
  • Best place ever! Fresh and tasty food. Not the fanciest restaurant in London but the quality speaks for itself. Dont forget to book your table early in advance.
  • Reserve at least a day before or you won't get a table and at least a week before for the weekend.
  • Lovely authentic place. Food's great! And it's cheap!
  • The grilled food here is very weird.
  • It was delicious. Everything was amazing. Atmosphere is rustic Japanese, not pretentious. We took and I'd definitely recommend: Nasu dengaku, Kuragesu, Gindara kasu zuke, Tori Kawa, Ika shouga yaki
  • Tiny place, reservations necessary. Forget the sushi, get right to the small plates, sashimi & yakitori. Noodles not bad too.
  • It is good, but not amazing. Good nigiri sizes though
  • Real Japanese food. Everything is good. Book ahead!
